Sales Force Module Overview

Sales force module provides user the features and functionality to keep track of all customer product enquiries. This module is especially useful for companies that sell standard products, custom products, or special products. With this module, user will be able to record all sales enquiries in the system. This is normally done by the sales department or the call center. As the handling the calls may be handling a diverse group of customers, requesting for a diverse group of products, and the product prices fluctuates from time to time, hence it is not possible to provide an immediate quotation or choices of products based on customer enquiries.

 

All product inquiries entered into the system will be routed to the procurement module. The procurement department personnel will then make use of the Procurement Module to route these customer enquiries to various suppliers. The suppliers could login to the Wavelet Supplier Portal to enter provide quotations and more information on the product, for example, minimum order quantity and also available quantity in stock. After the suppliers responded to these product inquiries, the procurement departments will process them by specifying the selling price of the product. Once this is done, the sales department or call center would then follow up with the customers and provide quotations.
